Calling All Developers: Hack Manila 2018 Hackathon is On!

August 99 is hosting its first-ever 48-hour hackathon at Loft Spaces on November 17 to 18, 2018, with up to ₱500,000 in prizes and gifts.

After almost two decades of developing and designing websites, August 99 is inviting solo or team participants to its first-ever large-scale hackathon, Hack Manila 2018. Contenders have the chance to win prizes and gifts of up to ₱500,000. It will be held on November 17 (Saturday) to 18 (Sunday), at Loft Spaces, located at Penthouse 1, One Corporate Center, Ortigas.

Over the weekend, for 48 hours (from registration to closing ceremony), a group of dynamic hackers ranging from students to founders from all across Metro Manila will engage in collaborative computer programming to produce a web, mobile, or hardware project from scratch. JS developers who build on NodeJS and AngularJS are welcome!

Supporting Hack Manila 2018 in partnership with August 99 are Canstar, GDG Cloud Manila, Agent Image, and Real.ph, along with Digital Ocean, True Logic, Nescafé, GCash, and San Miguel Beer, sponsored by Loft Spaces, Inc., Eastern Communications, Red Bull, Dunkin’ Donuts, Teh Botol and Fruit Tea Sosro PH, The Smokeyard, Cuisine by Chef and Brewer, Power Mac Center, and Oishi.

[October 2, 2018 Update] Deadline of registration is until October 26 (Friday) on hackmanila.com. Qualified participants will also be invited to a Pre-hackathon Orientation on November 10 (Saturday) at the Loft venue in Ortigas.
