What’s in and Around Loft BGC
The area where BGC is located used to be part of a larger military base complex — once known as Fort McKinley. It was renamed to Fort Bonifacio in honor of Andres Bonifacio, the Father of the Philippine Revolution.
Since the sale and urbanization of over 1,000 acres of land in the 1990s, “The Fort” has been transformed into a thriving central business district. The interplay of business and leisure is at the core of BGC, where you’ll find international companies (Google and Unilever, to name a few) side by side with luxury shopping malls, modern museums, and verdant green spaces.
The main roads that run through and around BGC include Kalayaan Ave., McKinley Rd., 32nd St., and 5th Ave.
After getting some work done, you can relax and unwind in a plethora of excellent establishments in the area. Check out the map below.

How to Commute to Loft BGC
Commuting to and from BGC is made convenient thanks to its unique bus network. You’ll find BGC’s dedicated bus terminal along EDSA, at the point where Ayala Avenue (Makati side) and McKinley Road (Taguig side) meet. The terminal is also locally known as Edsa-Ayala or BGC EDSA Bus Terminal.
There are typically two ways to get there:
- Via Metro Rail Transit (MRT) – The MRT Line 3 runs along EDSA. Taft Avenue Station is the southernmost point, going all the way to North Avenue Station. If northbound, get off at Ayala Station and walk to the East exit. If southbound, get off at Ayala station and cross EDSA on foot using the pedestrian overpass.
- Via bus or jeepney – You’ll find multiple buses and jeepneys passing through EDSA and Ayala Ave. Tell the driver or conductor that you’re going to the BGC Bus Terminal. If along Ayala Ave., you may need to get off at One Ayala Terminal.
To reach Loft BGC, ride a BGC bus along the North Route and get off at Uptown Parade or Uptown Mall. From there, you’re just a short walk away from our location in One Park Drive building (Unit 707).
If you’re going to other spots within BGC, these are the bus routes to consider:
- Central – This route takes you through nine stopovers including One Parkade, The Globe Tower, University Parkway, Net One, Bonifacio Stopover, HSBC, and a local mall called Market! Market!.
- Upper West – This route takes you through two stopovers: Bonifacio Stopover and Crescent Park West.
- Lower West – This route takes you through three stopovers: RCBC, Picadilly Star, and Fort Victoria.
- Night Route – Usually beginning at 10PM, the night route takes you through 15 stopovers, including RCBC, Net One Center, The Globe Tower, University Parkway, and Market! Market!
