Loft Guidelines to Prevent COVID-19 at Work
Keeping Our Community Safe

Our goal here at Loft is to make our space one of the safest workplaces to be in.

As individuals, communities and businesses slowly cope with the ‘new normal’, we came up with guidelines on how to safeguard the wellbeing of our staff, members, partners and guests. Many of the items mentioned in these guidelines are based on the public advice posted by the World Health Organization (WHO).

We recommend that you stay aware of the latest information about COVID-19, available on the World Health Organization website and on the Philippines Department of Health website.

The global outbreak has not been eliminated yet so it’s important that we take precautions in order to keep ourselves and our community safe at all times. We’d like to thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Arriving at Loft
  • In order for our staff to anticipate the number of guests arriving on a given day, we encourage you to book online by registering and logging in to our online booking system. This link can also be accessed at our loft.ph website.
  • If you are feeling unwell on the day of your booking (even with mild cough or cold), we recommend that you reschedule your booking on another day as a precaution. The WHO advises that “people should also stay home (or work from home) if they have had to take simple medications, such as paracetamol/acetaminophen, ibuprofen or aspirin, which may mask symptoms of infection.”
  • When you arrive at our One Corporate Center location, make sure you are wearing a mouth mask. Expect one or two temperature checks — the first check may be done by the building lobby guard and another one by a Loft staff at our Penthouse 1 floor.
  • One Corporate Center building guidelines allow for a maximum of 4 persons to ride the elevator.
  • Our staff may also ask you to disinfect your hands prior to entering the Loft coworking area.
Coworking Area Seat Plan
  • We trust our guests and members to practice social distancing on their own initiative, so implementing one-way traffic and adding floor markings is not needed. Just make sure to follow the modified seat plan that we have put in place.
  • Our modified seat plan ensures that there is sufficient space between desks and seats. Please do not rearrange the seats or tables in groups while these special guidelines are being enforced.

Meeting Rooms, Training Area and Event Space
  • If you have booked a meeting room for the day, everyone in the room should wear a mouth mask at all times.
  • Group events, training and webinars are still allowed in our coworking space as long as participants follow appropriate distancing guidelines.
Training Area
Pantry and Coffee Station
  • Proper distancing also applies to our pantry area. If you’re having lunch with a companion or a small group, make sure to observe proper distancing and practice clean-as-you-go habits.
Pantry
Restrooms
  • Hand washing instructions and restroom etiquette reminders will be displayed inside the restroom area.A staff will maintain the cleanliness of our restrooms at all times.
  • Kindly do your part by making sure toilet seats are wiped dry after using it, trash is thrown properly inside the bin and avoid making the floor dirty or wet when using the bidet spray.
General Hygiene and Protection
  • When inside any Loft space, all staff, members and guests are expected to wear mouth masks at all times.
  • Hand washing kills the virus on your hands and prevents the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses. Wash your hands with soap and water multiple times a day. If water is unavailable, use alcohol or hand sanitizer.
  • Loft will be providing hospital-grade hand sanitizers at accessible areas within the space.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Cough or sneeze using a handkerchief or disposable tissue. Only use paper tissues once. Do not keep used tissues on top of your desk. Throw them away immediately.
  • Close the trash bins after using them.
  • If you suddenly feel unwell during your stay at Loft, we have an in-house nurse who can provide first aid assistance.
Cleaning and Disinfection
  • Loft’s housekeeping staff will be doing their cleaning routines every 2 hours. This will include disinfection and sanitizing of floors, surfaces, desks, trash bins, door handles, light switches, coffee machines, faucets, remote controls and other equipment.
  • If you have concerns about the cleanliness of a particular area, please approach our community manager on duty.
